Job Site:    Maintenance

Hours/Days:   40 hours per week, 260 days (12 months)

Hourly Rate:  $25.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

Perform repairs, replacement, and preventive maintenance of Kokomo School Corporation equipment and structures.  Responsible as lead role based on superior experience and expertise while primarily performing plumbing and HVAC duties.  Other duties include mechanical, carpentry, and facility upkeep.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Three (3) years experience in a service-oriented role.
• Overall knowledge of tools and materials associated with the trades.

Applicant must be physically able to lift 75 pounds, including but not limited to furniture, educational materials, bagged trash, and supplies. Applicant must be able to follow instructions by reading instructions by supervisors, product labels and training manuals. Applicant must possess a strong work ethic and good attitude. Applicant should be clean and neat in appearance.
